The X-Ray Products Division of radiation therapy provider Varian Medical Systems will showcase its portfolio of PaxScan digital image detectors and x-ray tubes for fluoroscopy, angiography, cardiology, and conebeam CT at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna.
The X-Ray Products unit will introduce the following products:
- M-1500, an x-ray tube developed specifically for advanced mammography applications such as tomosynthesis and CT scanning
- PaxPower FP x-ray tube, optimized for interventional procedures and portable surgical CT systems
- PaxScan 3024M flat-panel detector, designed for full-field digital mammography
- PaxScan 4336R hot swap technology, which allows a radiographic panel to be unplugged/plugged without requiring a system reboot
