Already available in Europe, Embrace is expected to receive Food and Drug Administration clearance for Embrace in the U.S. by mid-2004. A commercial launch in North America is planned for next fall.
Embrace includes a unit with gantry and acquisition station, and its Embrace Diagnostic Display Station, which uses Agfa’s proprietary Musica image-processing software.
