IDC sells first Xplorer system in Australia

Calgary, Alberta-based Imaging Dynamics (IDC) has completed the first sale and installation of its Xplorer 1700 digital radiography system in Australia. The IDC system is being used with a McKesson Information Solutions radiology reporting workstation.

The sale to the 855-bed Royal Perth Hospital was made by IDC’s Australian and New Zealand distributor, Integra Medical Imaging, headquartered in Mawson Lakes, South Australia.

The companies believe that establishing a luminary site in the hospital with the largest trauma center in Western Australia could catalyze additional sales of digital technology throughout Australia.
