Kodak partners with eTrauma

Eastman Kodak's Health Imaging division has signed an agreement with eTrauma, which will serve as a reseller of Kodak's entire DirectView CR product line. In turn, Kodak's CR systems will be the primary capture devices for eTrauma's digital imaging offerings for orthopedic specialists, according to Rochester, NY-based Kodak. eTrauma will also market Kodak's EVP software.

In other new-customer developments, Kodak has installed its PACS and CR systems at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. Kodak has also placed its DryView laser imagers at the hospital's campus, which performs more than 280,000 imaging procedures a year at three facilities, according to the vendor.

In another announcement made at this week's American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) conference in New Orleans, Kodak said that it has shipped its 20,000th dry laser imager.
