Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has announced several new computed radiography and PACS agreements. One of the deals will allow the Stamford, CT-based vendor to supply CR equipment to several of the U.S. military’s Tricare Healthcare facilities in the North Atlantic Regional Medical Command (NARMC).
By the end of this year, six facilities will be operational with CR, including Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC; DiLorenzo Tricare Health Clinic in the Pentagon; Keller Army Hospital in West Point, NY; Guthrie Ambulatory Clinic in Fort Drum, NY; Richard Barquist Army Health Clinic in Fort Detrick; and Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC.
Fuji has also expanded its sales channels through a deal with radiology product distributor National Healthcare Distributors in Cleveland. NHD will market Fuji's medical imaging film and other product lines for radiology applications in the professional practice market.
Finally, Fuji has signed an addendum to its three-year CR agreement with group purchasing organization Premier. Premier members will now be able to purchase Fuji’s dry imagers and film products. The agreement with Premier runs through November 30, 2002.
