CHICAGO - In patients with chronic sinusitis, CT does a good job of imaging the paranasal sinuses. But MRI has its advantages too, not the least of which is zero radiation. A study presented Friday at the RSNA meeting suggested that MRI can replace CT for preoperative planning in patients with paranasal sinus disease.
