SimonMed has launched Cardiovascular Longevity, a preventive cardiovascular health program combining blood biomarker testing, AI-powered coronary CT angiography (CCTA) plaque analysis, and a virtual consultation with a preventive cardiologist.
The program's blood panel evaluates cholesterol particles, inflammation, blood sugar, and lipoprotein(a), among other biomarkers, according to the company. The CCTA component uses AI to measure both soft and calcified coronary plaque burden. Following testing, patients meet virtually with a cardiologist to review results and develop a prevention plan.
Cardiovascular Longevity is currently available to patients in California, with a national rollout planned later this year.
