Patients with coronary artery disease in 38 states will soon have Medicare coverage for HeartFlow's HeartFlow Analysis fractional flow reserve CT (FFR-CT) software.
Three more Medicare administrative contractors published final local coverage determinations, expanding coverage for the software for more patients. CGS Administrators and WPS Government Health Administrators made the coverage effective April 25, and Noridian Healthcare Solutions made it effective April 26.
Medicare contractors Novitas Solutions and First Coast Service Options are providing coverage for Medicare patients on a case-by-case basis.
