Bayer is displaying its new Medrad Centargo CT injector at ECR 2019 in Vienna.
Medrad Centargo is a CT contrast injector designed to simplify and improve the efficiency of the CT workflow, according to Bayer. It includes a daily setup process for loading CT contrast material and connecting the appropriate patient line that clinicians can complete in under two minutes.
Medrad Centargo also uses an integrated barcode reader to reduce the manual data entry workload. The injector is battery powered and features Wi-Fi connectivity.
Bayer said it expects to receive the CE Mark for its Medrad Centargo by the summer of 2019.
