Canon Medical Systems USA has added its Aquilion Prime SP and Aquilion Lightning 80 to the list of CT scanners that provide simulation capabilities for radiation therapy.
Canon has added radiation therapy options to its Aquilion Prime SP and Aquilion Lightning 80 to maximize scanner utilization for cancer treatment, the company said. Previously available only with its Aquilion LB CT scanner, Canon's radiation therapy options now offer a larger field-of-view, a flat tabletop, respiratory motion management, and patient alignment lasers.
