Carestream Health has secured a class III license from Health Canada for its Carestream OnSight 3D conebeam CT extremity scanner.
OnSight 3D is designed for traditional or weight-bearing 3D imaging of upper and lower extremities by private orthopedic practices, hospital radiology departments, emergency rooms, and other medical imaging centers.
The compact system can be installed in an exam room and can plug into a standard wall outlet, Carestream said.
