Medical equipment manufacturer Neusoft Medical Systems USA has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its NeuViz Prime 128-slice CT scanner.
The scanner can acquire and process images at multiple energy levels, features a 0.259-sec rotation speed, and includes a new liquid-bearing x-ray tube that improves heat storage and dissipation, the company said.
