The French Society of Radiology (SFR) said it was sad to announce the death of Tunisian pediatric radiologist Dr. Azza Hammou.
Dr. Azza Hammou.Hammou was a professor of radiology at the Medical School of Tunis and the former head of the Tunisian National Center of Radiation Protection. She also served as a committee member for the World Health Organization and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Hammou was a past president of the Mediterranean and African Society of Ultrasound. Her research interests included radiation protection and patient safety, pediatric radiology, and ultrasound.
