Israeli imaging software developer Medic Vision will show its SafeCT image reconstruction add-on system as a work-in-progress at this month's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
SafeCT employs proprietary generic iterative retro reconstruction (GiRR) in 3D technology to provide a high level of image quality with half the dose on existing CT equipment, according to the Haifa-based firm. SafeCT is currently pending U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance, Medic Vision said.
