(Booth 4076) Medicsight of London will spotlight its ColonCAD software, which is shipping internationally, for analysis of virtual colonoscopy images.
Medicsight will make the software available through its marketing partners, which include Vital Images, Viatronix, TeraRecon, Barco, 3mensio Medical Imaging, and Infinitt. The firms have integrated ColonCAD into their own advanced visualization applications.
The company believes that recent positive clinical results for virtual colonoscopy will help drive adoption of virtual colonoscopy as a screening tool for colon cancer, which in turn will spur interest in ColonCAD.
