Medical device firm Fluke Biomedical of Everett, WA, has released its nested CT dose phantom set.
The product's new design is more lightweight and portable, the company said. It encompasses a set of quality assurance phantoms for measuring CT dose index in both children and adults.
The pediatric head and pediatric body/adult head segments are nested inside the adult body phantom, according to Fluke. The nested CT dose phantom comes in a carrying case with wheels and a pull handle, or it can be ordered with an optional case without wheels and a standard handle.
