Chinese imaging vendor United Imaging Healthcare has hired medical imaging veteran Hermann Requardt, PhD, as a scientific adviser.
Formerly CEO of Siemens Healthcare from 2009 to 2015, Requardt will provide strategic guidance on business, technology, and R&D for United. The appointment is part of United's initiative to expand its global presence, according to the company.
In addition to running Siemens Healthcare, Requardt led the company's MR business in the 1980s.
