X-ray components firm Varex Imaging has named Shaohua Liang as vice president and managing director for China.
As part of the appointment, Varex has consolidated all of its Chinese operations under Liang, who will report to Sunny Sanyal, the company's president and CEO.
Prior to Varex, Liang served at Elekta Instruments, Draeger Greater China, and Siemens Technology Development, as well as at China's State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) and the China National Pharmaceutical Group, the company said.
