RSNA has established a new award, the Kuo York Chynn Neuroradiology Research Award, that will be presented annually at the RSNA meeting for the top neuroradiology research paper submitted to RSNA.
The award is funded with a donation from Dr. Kuo York Chynn, who is a neuroradiology expert and author of more than 30 papers and two textbooks. He also holds a patent for a needle used in myelography procedures.
Chynn chose to offer the grant through RSNA because of the society's dedication to funding research and advancing the science of radiology, RSNA said. The first award of $3,000 will be presented at RSNA 2016.
