AFP Imaging of Elmsford, NY, reported growth in revenues for the company's 2007 fiscal first quarter, but also a steep increase in losses.
For the period (end-September 30), AFP reported net revenues of $5.9 million, up 7.1% compared with $5.1 million in the corresponding quarter of 2006. First-quarter net losses were $568,000, a sharp decline compared with the $110,000 in losses reported for the same period of 2006.
The firm said it reported increased operating expenses associated with the introductory marketing and distribution efforts for its new digital products in the first quarter, and that it wrote off financing costs that have been deferred from prior fiscal periods.
