CIVCO unveils ultrasound products

Ultrasound and radiotherapy products provider CIVCO Medical Solutions has introduced a trio of products for use with ultrasound systems.

The Kalona, IA-based firm has launched a new three-bottle ultrasound gel and lotion warmer that will warm up to three 250-mL bottles at a time, as well as sterile gel packets. CIVCO also said it will now be selling an alcohol-free disposable cloth, the Sani-Cloth HB germicidal disposable wipe, which can be used on ultrasound equipment for infection control.

Rounding out its product debuts, the company has released a new needle-guidance system, Ultra Pro II, for use with Aloka Ultrasound's UST-9133 transducer on its Alpha 10 scanner, version 6 or higher. CIVCO said the system features a single-use design to increase patient throughput and reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
