VNUS makes management moves

Interventional device developer VNUS Medical Technologies has named two vice presidents to its management roster.

The Sunnyvale, CA-based firm, which sells devices for the minimally invasive treatment of venous reflux disease, has named Mark Saxton as its vice president of U.S. sales, and William Franklin as its vice president of regulatory affairs and quality assurance.

Franklin most recently served as vice president of operations for IsoTis OrthoBiologics, VNUS said. Saxton has been director of U.S. sales for VNUS since July 2005, according to the company.
