Higher lung cancer risk seen in asbestos-exposed smokers

CHICAGO - For smokers who were also exposed to asbestos, the risk of lung cancer is expected to be far higher than that of the general lung cancer screening population. Just how high a risk was the focus of a lung cancer screening study presented at the RSNA meeting on Sunday.
