DPET and HPET equally accurate in assessing bronchial cancer

SAN FRANCISCO - The images are fuzzier, but hybrid PET is just as accurate as dedicated PET for the diagnosis and staging of bronchogenic carcinoma. That's the conclusion of a study presented by a nuclear medicine physician who spoke yesterday at the Chest Imaging 2000 conference.
