Walking reduces Alzheimer's progression, 1.5-tesla MRI shows

CHICAGO - With the help of 1.5-tesla MRI, researchers at the University of Pittsburgh have found that walking 5 miles per week helps reduce the progression of mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease in adults already afflicted with the condition, according to a study presented today at the RSNA annual meeting.
