CooperSurgical to distribute Norland bone measurement systems

Norland Medical Systems has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with specialty medical equipment developer CooperSurgical of Shelton, CT. The deal allows CooperSurgical to distribute Norland bone measurement systems to physician and group practices providing obstetric and gynecologic services in the U.S., according to White Plains, NY-based Norland.

Norland chairman and CEO Reynald Bonmati said that CooperSurgical's leadership as a distributor of medical equipment in ob/gyn offices will help further Norland's goal of incorporating bone measurement exams as part of every woman's routine check-up.
