The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has launched the second phase of its Be Seen awareness campaign.
The society introduced the campaign last fall. It is an effort to "raise the profile of medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals among the public, healthcare professions, and elected officials," and includes television, advertising, social media, earned media, and website and paid advertising, the ASRT said. The initiative's first commercial will be launched in July.
GE HealthCare (GEHC) is supporting the campaign, providing access to medical imaging equipment and cross-promotional opportunities, the society noted. The company's Wisconsin facilities served as the filming locations for the commercial and will be used for future ones, according to the ASRT.
