Candescent signs Sheridan Healthcare

Radiology management software developer Candescent Health has expanded its contract with Sheridan Healthcare in Florida.

Sheridan has been using Candescent's RadPerform cloud-based radiology management software within its Radisphere subsidiary, and it will now employ RadPerform at its practice in south Florida, which interprets a total of 800,000 imaging studies a year. The combined network will then encompass more than 150 radiologists who interpret more than 2 million studies annually, Candescent said.
