High-risk nonsmokers have lung cancer at rates comparable to those of smokers in the National Lung Screening Trial, according to a multicenter lung cancer screening trial in Taiwan. If replicated, the results could affect the question of who needs CT lung cancer screening, particularly regarding individuals exposed to secondhand smoke.
