Radiology Partners (RP) has named Matt Peterson president of its RP Clinical Services unit, effective July 20, with Krishna Nallamshetty, MD, also moving into a full-time role as COO.

Peterson joins RP from Universal Health Services, where he served as executive vice president and president of the Behavioral Health Division, the company said. He previously spent 12 years at UnitedHealth Group, including as senior vice president and divisional chief operating officer at Optum. Peterson will report to RP Chairman and CEO Rich Whitney.
Krishna Nallamshetty, MD.Radiology Partners
Nallamshetty, who has served as interim COO of RP Clinical Services since December, will report to Peterson and will also serve as interim chief medical officer (CMO) while RP Clinical Services searches for a permanent CMO. He previously served as Radiology Partners' chief medical officer and as practice president of Radiology Associates of Florida.
