Thanks to growth in all of its business segments, women's imaging vendor Hologic expects to post a 7% increase in revenue for its first fiscal quarter of 2015.
In preliminary results for the quarter (end-December 27), Hologic said it expects total revenue to reach approximately $653 million, up 7% overall and 8% on a currency-comparable basis from the first fiscal quarter of 2014. This exceeds the firm's previous revenue guidance expectations of $625 million to $635 million.
Hologic's breast health segment climbed 8% on a currency-comparable basis. Full first-quarter financial results will be released on January 28.
In other news, the company said it prepaid $300 million of principal on its Term Loan B facility in December 2014.
