Carestream lands digital x-ray orders

Carestream Health has received a number of new orders for its computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR) systems in the U.S.

Alpena Regional Medical Center in Alpena, MI, has ordered a DirectView 3500 system, while Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach, FL, has purchased a CR-ITX 560 system, according to the Rochester, NY-based vendor. Other orders included Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL (a DirectView DR 7500 system); Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru, IL (DR 7500 and DR 3000 systems); and Kennedy Health in Cherry Hill, NJ (a DR 7500 system).

In other orders, Novant Healthcare Systems of Charlotte, NC, has purchased 12 DirectView CR 825 systems, as well as CR 975 and CR 850 systems, Carestream said. Renown Health of Reno, NV, has purchased a DR 3000 system, while Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL, ordered seven CR 975, CR 850, and CR 825 systems. The U.S. Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, NC, has also ordered two CR-ITX 560 systems, according to the vendor.
