Breast imaging software developer Matakina International has delivered its VolparaDensity software to the Hospital of Central Connecticut.
The enterprise installation will allow objective volumetric breast density values to be obtained for mammograms performed at six facilities on eight Hologic full-field mammography systems, according to Matakina. The institution is the first in Connecticut to implement VolparaDensity.
