Zotec merges with EmPhysis

Zotec Partners of Indianapolis has merged with EmPhysis Medical Management, a Rockwall, TX-based physician practice management for radiology, anesthesiology, and pathology.

Zotec provides proprietary medical billing services and licensed software to hospital-based physician specialty practices across the U.S. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The transaction is Zotec's second merger this year.

With the additional business, Zotec will service more than 5,500 physicians in more than 44 states. EmPhysis also has satellite offices in Oklahoma and Colorado. The company's headquarters will remain in Indianapolis.
