Quantum, Agfa launch new CR systems

Radiology equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging of Ronkonkoma, NY, has launched two new CR systems in partnership with Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare.

The two systems, CR30-SP+, a tabletop unit capable of reading 60 plates per hour, and CR35-SP+, an upright unit capable of reading 73 plates per hour, include Agfa's Musica² image processing software, which renders bone and soft-tissue detail simultaneously. Both units include a 19-inch touch screen, NX-2 workstation, four cassettes with two-year warranty, advanced annotations and measurements tools software, and CD burning capability, according to Quantum.
