Quantum wins x-ray contract in Vt.

Radiography equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging of Ronkonkoma, NY, has won an installation of a single-detector digital x-ray system at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Montpelier, VT. The system incorporates the CXDI-40G Compact digital receptor from Canon U.S.A. of Lake Success, NY.

The digital radiographic system installed at the facility includes Quantum's QV-800 system with the 17 x 17-inch CXDI-40G Compact digital receptor.

The sale and installation were facilitated by Schiring Radiographic Imaging, one of Quantum's U.S. dealers, and was purchased under Quantum's Amerinet group purchasing organization (GPO) contract, according to Quantum.
