Fuji aids NFL draft prep

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, has lent an early helping hand for the April 22 National Football League (NFL) draft.

Software and equipment from Fuji helped acquire, view, and share diagnostic tests, including x-rays, MRIs, and cardiac evaluations, during the NFL Scouting Combine to evaluate the abilities of athletes entering the draft.

Nearly 2,000 imaging studies were conducted on more than 300 players and stored in Fuji's Synapse PACS. In addition, three FCR XG5000 computed radiography readers were used to acquire approximately 1,600 general x-ray exams on knees, shoulders, spines, and extremities.
