Konica Minolta shows CR, software updates

Konica Minolta Medical Imaging USA has introduced its next-generation Xpress CR 210, designed to extend mammography plate technology to general x-ray, and released software version 1.30 for its ImagePilot digital radiography product.

The company announced the products at the RSNA meeting this week in Chicago.

The new C-plate series is designed with columnar crystal phosphor layers to support high-quality images, and the Xpress CR 210 processes up to 100 plates per hour, according to the Wayne, NJ-based firm.

Improvements to the base software for ImagePilot include extended patient record search capabilities to facilitate access to priors, along with other workflow enhancements. ImagePilot updates results from feedback from the private practice market where it is used, the company said.
