Canon to enter fluoro DR market

Digital radiography (DR) vendor Canon Medical Systems is developing a portable flat-panel DR system that's capable of handling both dynamic and static x-ray images.

The Irvine, CA-based vendor will demonstrate a prototype of the system at next week's 2008 RSNA meeting in Chicago and hopes to release the system in the second half of 2009.
