Imix launches new line of DR systems

Digital radiography (DR) developer Imix Americas of Reston, VA, has launched a new line of DR systems, called Imix insight.

The new line is designed to provide imaging facilities with affordable but fully featured DR technology, according to the firm. The firm is targeting smaller facilities that might not be able to afford traditional DR systems, especially low- to mid-volume sites.

Products in the Imix insight line include PanoRAD, which features a small footprint and can be sited in rooms with 8-ft ceilings; NovaRAD, a single-detector DR system designed to provide the flexibility of a dual-detector room; and OrthoRAD, a partially motorized, straight-arm stand designed for the orthopedic market.
