Veterinary digital radiography developer Eklin Medical Systems has released two new additions to its RapidView workstation product line.
Designed for both general and specialty radiographic practices, RapidView 2GSi is capable of handling detailed radiographic studies, according to the Santa Clara, CA-based firm. The 20.1-inch grayscale monitor has 8-bit resolution, with 256 levels of gray and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. It can temporarily store up to 8,000 radiographic images.
Another new RapidView workstation, SD-1C, is suitable as an educational tool for individual exam rooms or other client education areas within the practice, Eklin said. The low-cost 17-inch color monitor and compact server can temporarily store up to 4,000 images, according to the firm.
