IDC adds Brazilian OEM

Canadian digital radiography vendor Imaging Dynamics reported that it has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) deal with VMI Sistemas Medicos of Brazil to incorporate IDC's Xplorer imaging detector into its line of digital x-ray products.

VMI is the largest manufacturer and distributor of x-ray products in Brazil, with a network of over 26 dealers in mainland Brazil and 20 satellite dealers worldwide, according to the Calgary, Alberta-based IDC.
