Digital x-ray firm InfiMed said that sales and installations of its StingRay DR flat-panel digital radiography system quadrupled worldwide in 2002, including a doubling of sales in the U.S. A spokesperson for the Liverpool, NY-based firm declined to provide exact sales figures, but did say that that company shipped between 20 and 30 StingRay DR systems last year. InfiMed markets StingRay DR worldwide through OEM partnerships and also sells the products in the U.S. and Europe via a dedicated dealer channel.
