Beekley of Bristol, CT, has donated $1 million to a Connecticut hospital.
The gift will be used to fund Bristol, CT-based Bristol Hospital's comprehensive breast care center, which will be called the Beekley Center for Breast Health and Wellness at Bristol Hospital.
The center will offer a range of clinical and support services, from screening and diagnosis to treatment and counseling, according to Beekley. Construction of the center is expected to begin in early 2010, with completion anticipated in the spring of 2011.
