Fujifilm awards ARRS educational grants

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, has awarded American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) educational grants for its fifth year of sponsorship.

Grant recipients Dr. Gory Ballester-Ortiz of the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan and Dr. Kwaku Obeng of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston were honored during a presentation held at the Scholars and Awards session at the annual meeting of the ARRS this week in Boston.

At $2,500 each, the grants cover registration and courses for the entire ARRS meeting, as well as lodging and travel to and from the conference, according to Fuji.
