GE Healthcare has inked a deal to provide imaging training for technologists from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health.
Under a memorandum of understanding, the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor will continue to conduct clinical training programs, offer online clinical education training, and provide leadership and decision-making programs for senior leadership. In addition, GE said it would share best practices in modern medicine, identify opportunities for staff, and hold learning sessions on change acceleration process and Six Sigma methodology and processes.
GE hopes to train more than 600 technologists by offering 30 courses in MR, CT, and x-ray, held through 16 GE Training in Partnership Television (TiP-TV) days in 13 cities within one year. GE also will present four awareness sessions on change acceleration process and Lean Six Sigma methodology and processes.
