GE debuts Lunar Prodigy Primo

GE Healthcare has introduced Lunar Prodigy Primo, a bone mineral density (BMD) densitometer designed for use at the point of care.

Built on the foundation of its Prodigy system, Primo features a redesigned and streamlined package to meet the needs of primary care and in-office physicians, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based firm.

The system includes GE's enCORExpress user interface and OneScan operation technique, allowing for easy operation for beginners, GE said.
