Revenue up, profit down in Alliance's Q1

The opening of two new fixed-site imaging centers helped Alliance Imaging boost revenues in the first quarter (end-March 31).

The Anaheim, CA-based imaging services provider increased revenues by 9% to $119.1 million, compared with $109.4 million in the first quarter of 2007. Net income slipped to $3.4 million, compared with $5.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.

Alliance also reaffirmed its projected revenues of between $472 million and $484 million for 2008.
