OIA announces Florida joint venture

Imaging center developer Outpatient Imaging Affiliates (OIA) of Nashville, TN, has signed a deal to establish a joint-venture imaging center with a radiology group in Jacksonville, FL.

OIA has created St. John's Imaging in collaboration with the Drs. McClow, Clark & Berk radiology group. The site will provide MRI, CT, PET/CT, and other outpatient imaging services to patients and referring physicians in the greater Jacksonville area, and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2008.

OIA also announced the expansion of its relationship with Raleigh Radiology Associates in North Carolina via the addition of new locations in the Raleigh suburbs of Wake Forest, Brier Creek, and Clayton.

In personnel news, OIA announced that it has named Kelly Gill as chief operating officer, Cannon King as executive vice president of business development, Jeff Tumbleson as vice president of information technology, and Janet Cheek as vice president of operations.
