Corindus to unveil CorPath

Cardiac cath lab technology developer Corindus will introduce its second-generation remote-control catheter manipulation system, CorPath, at the Paris Course on Revascularization in Paris next week.

The Auburndale, MA-based firm said the noninvasive product allows physicians to advance and torque coronary guide wires and stent systems remotely, reducing radiation exposure and minimizing the need for lead aprons on clinicians during cath lab procedures.
